With the Cloud Foundry Summit in Santa Clara, CA coming to a close we turn our focus to the North and look forward to the OpenStack Summit in Vancouver, Canada. It is very exciting as IBM is heavily involved in both OpenStack and Cloud Foundry and I think you will find that IBM is leveraging these great open source technologies to build great products and solve enterprise problems. To learn more about how IBM is doing this and to get some hands on experience you should attend the IBM sponsor track on Monday May 18. Below you will find a preview of the sessions and if you click on the title it will take you directly to the detailed description of the talk and allow you to register.

Michael, Tammy and Ton invite you to come to their session to learn more about how OpenStack Heat templates can be used to capture your complete deployment stack. Learn how to use a web-based editing tool that will enable you to capture each aspect of your architecture and make it ready to deploy in just a couple of clicks. But wait, you may be saying to yourself, I have already made an investment in other cloud technologies. No worries, we will demonstrate how the Heat language has been extended to design cloud-portable templates.

As you can see, the IBM subject matter experts have a great set of sessions planned to show you how they use Open Technologies as a basis and then build upon them to create powerful solutions. We hope you join us for the hands on experience, but if you are unable to make it to the sessions, feel free to stop by our booth and we will set up time for you to talk directly with the presenters.

See you in Vancouver.
